What does an equity assessment entail?
An EAPM assessment maps an institutions policies, practices and strategies for fostering equitable engagement and implementation of programming, recruitment and evaluation. The assessment identifies gaps and opportunities for fostering an anti-oppressive framework and equity building measures.
My approach as a Consultant is a holistic and engaged methodology that takes into account the communities the institution engages with: its current and past staff, its leadership and advisory bodies, its policies and communications and its history in order to contextualize and position equity goals and anti-oppressive practices in informed and sustainable ways. The elements of the consultation and assessment process include diagnostic tools, strategic planning and education. To get an idea of these elements and associated costs please see this page.

How does booking go? To inquire about booking a workshop or training with Rania, please contact us first through our Contact Us (link) page. Once your contact is received a Raniawrites team member will be in contact with you.
What is the survey? Before most workshops and trainings we will ask participants to take part in an anonymous and confidential quick survey. The candid information shared may prove helpful to the customization of your workshop. *Just a note: There are a few workshops that Rania prefers to facilitate with minimal knowledge about the audience.
How do we give quotes? Rania facilitates on a sliding scale which will be discussed during your booking process. We work on an ‘honesty is the best policy’ notion and will take into account your organizations financial means, responsibilities and community work.
